Terms & Conditions

Important: 
We are committed to protecting our properties, guests and neighbors which is why we’ve partnered with Know Your Guest by SUPERHOG, the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider.  

Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest.  

You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

Payment

  • A deposit of half of the reservation balance is due upon booking, payable by credit or debit card.
  • The remaining balance is due least 30 days before arrival date. Unless prior arrangements have been made, the card
    used for your initial reservation will be charged the remaining balance automatically 30 days prior to your arrival date.

Changes to Dates

  • In the event that you would like to change the dates of your booking, we will endeavor to accommodate you as best we
    can.
  • Changes to dates in higher nightly rental periods will be subject to the higher rental charge.
  • Changes to dates in lower nightly rate periods made within 6 (six) weeks of the start of the rental period, will only be
    subject to the lower charge if we can re-let the initial higher rate period.
 Cancellation by You
  • We advise that you take out travel insurance to cover against an unexpected cancellation.
  • Insurance for Covid19 is now available. We do not offer refunds due to weather and strongly recommend travel
    insurance for unforeseen weather or life events.
  • Cancellation must be made by email to: christina@rentfireflycabins.com by the party who made the original booking.
  • Cancellation charges are as follows :
  • If you cancel more than 30 days prior to arrival – any payments made will be refunded in full.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of booking will be issued a 100% refund.

Cancellation by Us

  • We do not expect to have to make any changes to your booking. However, problems can occur that would result in
    needing to make an alteration or, very occasionally, cancel a booking.
  • If this does happen, we will contact you as soon as is reasonably practical and inform you of the cancellation or the
    change to your booking.
  • We would offer a change of date with No Additional Cost to you. If it is necessary to cancel your booking any payments
    made will be refunded in full.
Rules
  • Pets are not permitted.
  • Please consider other guests and keep noise to a minimum at night.
  • Vaping or Smoking of any substance is prohibited ANYWHERE INDOORS. Please safely dispose of butts in containers
    provided.
  • Please leave the property in a tidy condition at the end of your stay and return any furniture you have moved to its
    original location. We may make reasonable additional charges for extra cleaning work if the property has been left in a
    poor condition..
Hot Tub
  • Use of hot tub is at your own risk.
  • Posted hot tub rules are for your safety and must be followed.

Arrival

  • Check-in is anytime after 4pm. 
  • We provide self-check-in. Detailed instructions will be emailed to you one week prior to arrival.

Departure

  • Check-out time is 10am.
  • The evening before your departure we will send you a short list of check-out instructions.

Lost Property

  • We are happy to return items that have been left following departure. However, there will be a minimum charge of
    $25 plus postage and packing.

Liability

  • We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party, your vehicles or your
    possessions unless proven to be due to negligence by ourselves.

Damages

  • We understand accidents happen. Should you damage anything, please inform me right away so it can be quickly
    rectified.
